For Kalamazoo is a collaborative initiative working to strengthen what’s already good in our county.
We connect leaders, churches, organizations, and neighbors across sectors to share insight, build trust, and mobilize efforts that contribute to the common good of Kalamazoo.
Our Story
For Kalamazoo connects leaders to strengthen collaboration for the good of the county. In early 2025, the initiative began with listening to leaders across sectors. Those conversations revealed several shared challenges, including the reality that while many resources exist, collaboration is often limited.
Guided by the For Kalamazoo Cabinet, a team of cross-sector volunteer leaders, For Kalamazoo exists to help align efforts, build trust, and serve the community through inspiring long-term collaboration.
